Answer to a question from the comments and a Haul!!

Lots of pictures in this post again!

This is a picture with some of my new purchases that I posted on InstaGram. :) The picture is of me wearing Rendezvous (my new Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain) but since I edited the pic you can't really see it haha!

(Follow me on InstaGram to see more of my pics!!)

This (not very good) picture is a swatch of Darling Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain (Anna!! Do you like it??) The darker stripe is what it looks like when you use a little more and the lighter stripe is just one coat. I use this all the time! It's my everyday lip color :) I usually just use a medium amount and rub it into my lips with my fingers. I usually add some clear lip balm on top for a little shine. :) It wears super well! The color lasts for hours and if my lips start feeling a little dry I just slap on some chapstick. :)

This is a picture my sister took of me when I was listening to her talk and I didn't know it. She's 17 and like 5 inches taller than me! Haha and it looks like I wasn't too impressed with what she had to say! :P  But anyway, this should give you an idea of what the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous looks like on me. It's a light application rubbed in with my fingers.  I think it looks a little nicer in person and it really brightens up my whole face! I just got it and I really like it. The only negative is that I don't think that it wears as well as the Darling that I already had.  I think it makes my lips look a little drier and it fades a tiny bit unevenly.  But if I put a little chapstick or gloss over the top its back to normal! So overall I still really like it and I think I'll be wearing it a lot. :)

A "better" picture of me wearing Rendezvous! :)
Today was an "I don't feel like wearing contacts... or a lot of makeup" day haha :)

A swatch of Rendezvous :)

Bonus! I love this scarf!! What do you guys think?? I got it 2ish months ago from Urban Outfitters. It was on clearance for about $9. Awesome! I love it so much! It's so soft and it's neutral but I love the sparkle. I wear it all the time :)

The ELF contouring blush and bronzer I got today! It's in St. Lucia! I haven't used it on myself yet, but I used it on my sister who's darker than I am and it looked gorgeous on her! I've heard this is a dupe for NARS Orgasm blush and Laguna Bronzer. Opinions on that? I'm really excited to use these since I love a peachy blush :) They both have shimmer though, so if you don't like shimmer I wouldn't go for these. And the best part?? It was only $3!!

This is a swatch of the blush & bronzer from ELF. The blush is on the left and the bronzer is on the right. The shimmer isn't too noticeable, especially in this pic, but it's definitely there in real life!

I also got this Rimmel Stay Matte powder. Tanya Burr raves about it in her beauty videos so I had to try it out! So far I really like it :) I got it in the translucent color :) And I apply it with a Real Techniques blush brush. I like the smaller brush because it gives me more control so I don't powder over blush, etc if I don't want to :)

Another bonus! My dad gave my mom, my sister and I an early Christmas present! He made us an appointment to get our nails done! I haven't had a manicure in a really long time so I was super excited!! This is what I got :) Do you like the candy cane stripes I got on my ring finger?! I think they're absolutely adorable!

What are your recent beauty buys?? Anything exciting going on in your life? Anything beauty related? Leave a comment and tell me whats up! I hope you are all having and awesome holiday season!! :) (for anyone who celebrates Christmas- 3 more sleeps!! Are you excited??) See y'all next time!

My Holiday Makeup Bag

It's finals week for me... bleh! But that means it's almost time for winter break! :) So I've begun thinking about what things I need to bring home with me.  Unfortunately, I'll be going home on the bus so I can only bring one bag with me.  Everything I'll need for my two weeks at home has to fit in that bag.  So I realized that I won't be able to take all of my makeup home with me. So here's what I'll be bringing with me in my holiday makeup bag :)

I'm bringing an average sized makeup bag home with me, which needs to hold all the makeup I'll be needing for glamorous party makeup and for everyday natural makeup. This is what make the cut:

1. Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm (05 quenched- - or as I call it "the blue one")

2. CoverGirl Aqua Smoothers Foundation (710 classic ivory)

3. Maybelline MasterShape brow pencil (blonde)

4. CoverGirl Invisible Concealer (fair)

4. Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow and Mood Boosting 2-in-1 Bronzer & Blush (Bronze/Natural)

5. Wet n Wild Coloricon Blush (831E Pearlescent Pink)

6. CoverGirl Professional Loose Powder (105 translucent fair)

7. NYX Water Resistant Cream Shadow (CRS 05 suede)

8. NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette (Champagne & Caviar- - I think this set is also called Caviar &

9. Prestige Liquid Eyeliner (LE-12 Envy)

10. Hard Candy Concealer (Light)- - I ran out of nude eyeliner, so I use this on my bottom waterline.
I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not, since it isn't formulated for eyes, so be careful!

11. CoverGirl Perfectblend Eyeliner (black brown)

12. L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara

13. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick (668 Primrose)

14. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain (010 Darling)

15. Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss (130 Pink Whisper)

16.  CoverGirl Lip perfection lip liner (210 Seduce)

17.  Tools

So now you know what I have in my holiday makeup bag! I hope this helped you decide what to pack in your makeup bag! Or if not hopefully it was at least entertaining! I'm going to try to put up a few posts on different ways you can use these products for different looks :) Hope you have a great day/night! And let me know what you have in your holiday makeup arsenal!
